Don't get caught out!

Hello residents,

The weather of late has been very nice so please do not get caught out.

I appreciate that the weather has been hot and that we leave windows open on our houses and cars in order for them to cool down especially if we have pets.

Please do not leave pets in vehicles even if you are only going to be a couple of minutes in a shop, it is not fair and cruel to the animal.

When you go out to work do not leave your windows open when there is no-one at home, the last thing we want is you returning home from work reporting a burglary!!

Do not leave your vehicle windows open or partially down so your vehicle can “vent”, again this could attract opportunists to go into your vehicle and steal from it or take the vehicle with the modern technology that is around these days.

Last of all, if you are lucky enough to holiday abroad and want to share your photos on social media it would be a better idea to share the photos when you are back at home, sharing your photos on social media when you are away is a good advert saying that you are not at home.
